Crazy Taxi is a video gamedeveloped by Hitmaker and publishedby Sega. The game was first released in arcadesin 1999 and was ported to the Dreamcastin 2000. Subsequently, it has been brought to the PlayStation 2and Nintendo GameCubein 2001, and then Microsoft Windows and Game Boy Advancein 2002. Crazy Taxi is the first game in the Crazy Taxi series, and it became one of the few Sega All Stars. It has also earned Greatest Hitsstatus on PlayStation 2 and Player's Choicestatus on GameCube.
